Wouldn’t it be better to know if your flooring was safe before you went to the expense of purchasing and laying it?
Many companies spend millions of pounds on refurbishments, including new flooring and it’s only after the money has been spent that problems with the safety and slip resistance of the floor arise.
SlipTest provide a service that does exactly this.
We will access the individual environmental factors that will impact the slip resistance on your premises and we can share data and our many years of experience to advise which types of flooring perform best in similar premises.
Although many floors come with a manufacturer ‘R’ rating this doesn’t take into account how a floor performs once it is in-situ. We can provide these results by running our own independent tests using the Pendulum, the HSE’s preferred slip test method and we only need one or two tiles (depending on size) to access the level of slip resistance.
Armed with all this information and insight you can make an informed decision when purchasing and laying a new floor to avoid any costly mistakes.
